Why subscribe?

Most technology writing focuses on the specs: the clock speed, the battery life, the quarterly earnings. That is the noise. I am interested in the signal.

This blog tracks the concept of progress. Not just the line on the chart going up and to the right, but the actual, tangible shift in how we exist. We are moving from a world where we use tools to a world where we are merging with them.

I am writing about that transition. In the short term, that looks like analyzing where "tech" stops and "human" begins. Eventually, we are going to talk about transhumanism, not as science fiction, but as the inevitable endpoint of the path we are currently walking.

What to expect:

I don’t chase news cycles. You won’t get press releases or hot takes on the latest iPhone launch. You will get essays on the friction between biology and silicon, thoughts on the ethics of enhancement, and questions I can’t answer yet.
